Our first stop will be at the Tipón Archaeological Site, renowned as the Temple of Water, where you’ll marvel at the intricate Inca irrigation system and agricultural terraces.
Continuing our excursion, we’ll proceed to the Pikillaqta Archaeological Site, an ancient urban center of the Wari civilization. From here, you’ll enjoy panoramic vistas of the Huacarpay Lagoon wetland in Lucre.
Our final destination is the district of Andahuaylillas, home to the San Pedro Apostol de Andahuaylillas Church, often dubbed the Sixtine Chapel of America. Constructed in the 17th century, this church boasts stunning Colonial Art, including gilded altars, murals, paintings, and vibrant ceilings.
